A brief introduction to Aluminum Alloy Manual foam Monitor

Device Description

The Aluminum Alloy Manual foam Monitor is a fire monitor that generates and sprays foam to extinguish Class A, B, and C liquid fires from a long distance, or sprays water to extinguish solid material fires from a long distance. It is not only suitable for petrochemical enterprises, storage tank farms, airports, warehouses, port terminals, but also for ships, fixed offshore platforms and fire trucks and other facilities.

Features

The foam gun mainly consists of a handle, a base, a water inlet pipe, a rotating body, a locking device, a foam injection system and a rotating mechanism. It has good performance in the pressure range of 8-10MPa, it can not only spray foam, but also spray water. When spraying air foam, adjust the proportional mixer to the flow value of this gun before use.

Maintenance

Fire monitors should be used within the specified operating pressure range.

The integrity and operational flexibility of the cannon should be checked frequently, and if the fasteners are not loose or deformed, they should be repaired in time to keep the cannon in good use.

The ball valve on the fire monitor should be opened or closed within the specified operating pressure range to avoid damage and deformation of the ball valve and seals.

After each use, spray clean water for a period of time, and then drain the water inside the monitor. In severe winter regions, it is necessary to pay attention to the fact that there is no water in the monitor, so as not to freeze the monitor.

Clean water should be used to avoid damaging the ball valve or clogging the monitor.

The rotating parts of the fire monitor should be lubricated frequently to ensure flexible rotation.

When spraying, no one is allowed to stand at the muzzle of the fire monitor.

Fire monitors cannot be used to extinguish fires in live facilities to avoid electric shock.

It can be covered with a quick-release rainproof cover at ordinary times.
